There's very few artists out there that have such ideas for hybrid human-animal anatomy that are right on the nail of how I imagine them. It's so adorable and perfect, I also like the plantigrade/digitigrade hybrid feet.

It's perfectly balanced imo, and realistic.

The nose should have contrasted a bit more against the helicopter blade, though. It kinda confused me for a moment.

I love the level of realism you've managed to make for this picture. The details are really good, it looks like it's from a high-quality web comic... or a brilliant artist ;3
Some little perspective errors are present, but screw them, this is more than fine like this.

Hehehe. Anthros tinkering on RC cars. For some reason, the only work I got for this is "adorable". Not sure if that's what you were going for. I think it's his expression. He looks very content in his workshop. Again, your level of detail is quite good. I feel you get a good idea of the character just by looking at what sorts of things are lying around in his workshop. Very cool.

To be honest, I never noticed the proportions were messed up. But I've never been best with proportions, myself. Like you said, though, it still turned out great.
