I don't really do much journals but from the amount of mentions I got from this DA Questionnaire, it wouldn't be bad to answer those questions as well

1. How long have you been on DeviantArt?
-I've been on DA for almost 5 years now, 6 year overall if you include a year that I wasn't registered yet.

2. What does your username mean?
-There's actually a story behind it.
It's a combination of a family name from Tan, Shu & Hai. I first discovered it while making a family tree for a homework. I thought it sounded cool so I remembered it.
Then in 2007 that's when I discovered the wonders of the internet, I always wanted an original name because most of the cool names were always been taken wherever I go
and I can't have the same username anywhere. So after countless of time forgetting all my username I decided to have a unique one and the first thing that pops into my
mind was Tan-Shu-Hai. No one ever had that name so I decided using it, but I mistakenly misspelled Tan to Than thus making "thanshuhai" then I just kept using it until
today. I am happy with it and its funny how often its mispronounced XD

3. Describe yourself in three words.
-THE COFFEE MONSTER!

4. Are you left or right handed?
Right handed most of my life~

5. What was your first deviation?
-First ever deviation I submitted and one of my most early digital works: sta.sh/0b6xaoxonbk
-One of the first finish creature I worked on: sta.sh/0pfecmw6xe4
I deleted those before because I was too shy sharing my work but eventually I got my confidence to post my work online

6. What is your favourite type of art to create?
-I got into graphic design first but then I discovered Anthropomorphic art and painting. :3

7. If you could instantly master a different art style, what would it be?
-I'd say Realistic with that knowledge and have a huge reference and make a variety of my own styles and paint how I see the world around me.

8. What was your first favourite?

9. What type of art do you tend to favourite the most?
-Anthrophomorpic, Cool looking, Cute & Meaningful artpiece.

10. Who is your all-time favourite deviant artist?
I have plently of favorite artist and its hard for me just to pick one.
- The first artist I ever followed and inspired me to draw
- his cute art is actually one of the first thing that made me want to draw cute & anthro art. I love his work so much & one of the biggest
influence
- I just love how meaningful her work is.
- There's something about her work that makes me awe everytime I see it. she is one of my big inspirations.
- I love her artstyle there's something about it that you can almost touch from your screen.
I got a lot of influence and I follow a lot of artist and
- It all just looks natural
- There's a lot of emotions in her artworks that makes me smile
- Her painting style is amazing!
I still follow a lot of favorite artist but it will be a very long list.

11. If you could meet anyone on DeviantArt in person, who would it be?
-I don't even know where to start I would love to meet all the people I mention above and I follow.
Also the people who have been so kind to me.

12. How has a fellow deviant impacted your life?
-Everyone actually and it changed my life. Right before I joined deviantArt and before I considered myself as an arist I don't really know what to do with my life.
Without all the people who've been there all this time, I wouldn't be here right now and woudln't get to know myself better. Everyone got involved, watched commented,
supported me and become my friends have been my biggest inspiration and always been part of my life. Thank you.

13. What are your preferred tools to create art?
-I tend to work more digital with a graphics tablet because its less expensive for me than to buy a whole set of paint & brushes. I still do like going around with a sketchbook & pencils whenever I am away from my computer

14. What is the most inspirational place for you to create art?
-I usually work in my office, but I do get inspired by a lot of things like nature, people and the internet.
I sometimes go outside and get some air if ever I get a heavy artblock, just to see something new at least.

15. What is your favourite DeviantArt memory?
-Getting my first Daily Deviation:   I've been posting art for 6 months and when this got featured on DD I got overwhelmed by all the response I got and Inspired me to work harder on my art. One of the events that pushed me to become a better artist.
-First Place in Anthro Challenge Contest:   First ever contest that I actually got the first place. I am very happy with it

but in the end my favorite DA memory is getting involve with people in this community. I have had a great blast here on DA for the past 6 years, I got to meet great people, great friends, great artist. being able to share your art and memories as times goes by. By just looking back right now A lot of things change in my life and I am happy with it. I am excited what adventures unfold and memories we all can make here.
